ICH3 #63 – Beets the Shit Outta Me’s Oktoberfest Redux

Prost, you magnificent flour-chasers and professional beer-botherers!

The Iron City Hash House Harriers are dragging your sorry asses back for Trail #63 on Friday, September 25, 2026. We’re returning to the scene of last year’s Oktoberfest crimes at Lorelei Beer Hall (124 South Highland Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15206) for a brand-new round of Bavarian bullshit, proudly hare’d by the one and only Beets the Shit Outta Me.

Same festive spirit. Completely different trail and stops. Beets claims he learned from last year’s mistakes (we remain unconvinced). Expect fresh flour, new beer checks, zero recycled checks… and plenty of opportunities to get gloriously lost. Expect to be disappointed if you’re looking for a clean, well-marked, FRB-friendly stroll. This is a Beets trail. You have been warned.

Meetup: 6:30 PM
On-Out: 7:00 PM

Come for the steins, stay for the shiggy, and get thoroughly lured by the Lorelei siren of cold lager and questionable life choices. Whether you’re a Front Running Bastard, a walker, a virgin, or just here to watch other people suffer, the pack will keep you from crashing on the rocks (probably… no promises).

Dress code suggestions: lederhosen, dirndls, anything vaguely alpine, or just your usual hash rags that still smell like last week’s beer stop. Bring a sense of humor, a headlamp (it gets dark and Beets doesn’t care), cash/card for the excellent beer selection, and the ability to shout “On-On!” without sounding too sober.

We’re redoing the Oktoberfest vibe, not the exact route — so don’t expect last year’s shortcuts or the same places to “accidentally” lose the FRBs. This one promises new ways to get off-trail, new places to complain, and the same excellent beer at the end.

Forged in steel. Fueled by beer. Hare’d by Beets the Shit Outta Me.
On-On to Lorelei!

See you there, half-minds. Don’t make the siren (or Beets) wait.
